हिंदी वाक्य की जिन क्रियाओं के अंत में ता रहा है/ ती रही है/ते रहे है/ते रहे हो इत्यादि आये तो उनका अनुवाद Present Perfect Continuous Tense में होता है।	मैं सोता रहा हूँ। I have been sleeping.
यदि हिंदी क्रियाओं के अंत में रहा हूँ/रही/हूँ/रहे हो इत्यादि आये और इसके पहले समय सूचक शब्द हो,तब इनका अनुवाद Present Perfect Continuous Tense में होता है।	मैं दो घंटे से सो रहा हूँ। I have been sleeping for two hours.

Present Perfect Continuous Tense की कर्ता के साथ have been या has been का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इनका प्रयोग वैसा ही है जैसे आप कर्ता के साथ have और has का प्रयोग करते है। आप किये गए लिंक पर क्लिक कर के इसके बारे में विस्तार से जान सकते है। Been का प्रयोग सभी के साथ होगा आपको केवल have और has का प्रयोग सीखना है।

नीचे एक सारणी की गयी है जिसमे संक्षिप्त रूप से have been और has been का करता के साथ प्रयोग को दर्शाया गया है।

जैसे की Present Perfect Continuous में वाक्यों के साथ कई बार भूतकालिक समयसूचक भी होते हैं जिनसे हमें समय का पता चलता है। इसे दर्शाने के लिए हमलोग For और Since का प्रयोगकरते हैं। इस सन्दर्भ में For और Since का अर्थ होगा 'से।'

• मैं चार घंटे से खेल रहा हूँ। - Duration of time.
• मैं मार्च से कोशिश कर रहा हूँ। - Point of time.
• मैं एक साल से इंतजार कर रहा हूँ। - Duration of time.
• मैं 4 बजे से पढ़ रहा हूँ। - Point of time.

Present Perfect Continuous Tense के साथ verb के चौथे रूप का प्रयोग किया जाता है। verb को चौथे रूप में बदलने के लिए इसके साथ ing को जोड़ दिया जाता है। जैसे -

• do + ing = doing.
• play + ing = playing.
• sell + ing = selling.

• वह एक महीने से पढाई नहीं कर रहा है।
