Is Am Are का प्रयोग वर्तमान समय के वाक्यों के लिए किया जाता हैं
अर्थात जिसके बारे में कहा जा रहा हो वह स्थिति या क्रिया वर्तमान समय की होती
है। हांलाकि कुछ वाक्यों में समयसूचक शब्द होते है उससे समय वर्तमान न
होकर भविष्य का हो जाता है। जैसे - "मैं अगले सोमवार को फिल्म देखने जा
रहा हूँ।" इस वाक्य में हूँ (am) का प्रयोग हुआ है लेकिन कार्य भविष्य में
होगा। लेकिन इसमें समयसूचक शब्द को हटा दिया जाए तो यह वाक्य की घटना वर्तमान
से संबंधित हो जाती है। जैसे - मैं अगले सोमवार को फिल्म
